Joel Perlmutter, MD

Dr.Perlmutter is the Elliot Stein Family Professor of Neurology, Radiology, Neurobiology, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. He is head of the Movement Disorders Section at Washington University and director of the Brain, Behavior and Performance Unit. Dr. Perlmutter is co-director of the Dystonia Coalition; medical director of the Missouri Chapter of the DMRF; and a member of the medical and scientific advisory board of the DMRF. He has also served on the BEBRF Medical Advisory Board.
His symposium presentation was on New Frontiers in the Pathophysiology of Blepharospasm.
