Albuquerque, New Mexico Support Group

A support group meeting was held on Saturday, May 21st, 2011 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. David Cook, PhD, from Ipsen, spoke to the group about the botulinum toxins and Dysport and answered questions. Mergime Dosku, a clinical sales specialist with Ipsen was also there and provided lunch for the group. The meeting was attended by approximately 20 people including the guest speaker. There are not a lot of Blepharospasm patients in the area, so a general dystonia meeting that is open to those with Blepharospasm, Meige, Cervical Dystonia, Writers Cramp, Spasmodic Dysphonia, Tardive Dyskinesia, Generalized Dystonia and HFS is held.
