Day of Surgery
Surgery was done early in the morning and I was released to go back to my hotel room by late morning. Eyes are bandaged and I had an ice pak wrapped around my head covering the bandages. I got a surprise telephone call from Alan Phair, checking up on me and was letting him know how I was doing when this picture was taken the afternoon of surgery.
I had an Upper Myectomy with Ptosis Repair, Levator Advancement, Upper Punctal Occlusion(cauterizing the upper tear ducts) and a bit of cosmetic touchup in the surgical area to fill in the volume deficits where muscle is removed. Surgery was done by Dr. Richard Anderson.
